I like Buncy... Yeah he has his faults, but who doesn't.? Anyway, I really don't get what stunt he was trying to pull with that Eddie Hearn on the sofa stuff yesterday... Check out his last 2 tweets.. @bigdaddybunce: I tell you something for nothing: I'm not getting Eddie Hearns on my show next week. Had him on yesterday and people are still moaning. @bigdaddybunce: In quick reply: people are moaning that Ed never had a bigger role. Just can't please some people. Still, Bernard Hopkins is not a bad guest What's he thinking?
No... Bunce was tweeting yesterday saying Hearn & VVarren would both be on the show... They just showed a 5 second clip of Eddie (from the Burns PC) & then read out a statement from VVarren.
I don't know why people are bothered, just don't watch it. It was an excellent show, with good guests as usual.
Bunce is a just ***** who's sold out and become a dinosaur in modern day boxing. I just choose to ignore him now.
Bunce still does some good work, his radio show was excellent & I enjoy most of his articles. He does what he needs to do to pay the bills, whilst I dont agree with everything he says its hard to dislike a man who's given so much to British boxing.
I agree..... I just don't get what this Eddie Hearn thing was all about... what was he trying to achieve
:| "Bunce hurt my ickle, wickle feelings." Get a grip, baby boy. He gets irritating when he picks sides, because it's like he won't hear any other argument. But he was the only one pushing boxing in the mainstream press for a few years. It was a really poor joke. Bunce does seem to have fondness for wide, pointless humour.
Much ado about nothing. I also thought they would both be on the show, but when I watched the full hour and realised they were not I still thought: "good show". But hey, continue to have a go at the guy, he only tries to give the sport we love much needed air time.
Bunce has run his course and lost what made him popular in the first place. His constant digs at Hearn a petty and make BoxNation look amateurish. I can't beleive a £60million company would let that kind of thing happen.
