    I know.

Those aren't really fantastic, either, and never have been for Nick.

He is a volume hitter with an excellent gas tank.

His speed, power, and punching form are below average by any standard (boxing or even MMA stand-up). He sacrifices all those things to focus in on just spraying shitloads of them without tiring.

Yes, I think Diaz has better stamina than Condit, but Condit is also a superbly conditioned fighter well equiped to go 5 rounds without gassing & the style of their actual fight meant Diaz couldn`t make his cardio be the difference.

7 rounds & Condit is ****ed

I don't know how people can say CC v Diaz was close. Nick Diaz was completely taken out of his game and failed to execute. He couldn't give you all the fight you wanted, so the blame falls on CC for "running". I thought CC put on a beautiful display of technical striking.

Also, look at this pre fight comparison.... Diaz was shut down!

It was a close fight. The only advantage Condit had was leg strikes, and those were not particularly hard strikes. If it were Shogun, or Aldo, type kicks Diaz never would have survived.

Diaz's timing is also very good. He throws **** loads of punches but he often uses his jab to time his opponent, and he does it very well. The volume 'pitter-patter' punches are used to keep the opponent on the defensive but also so he can easily counter his opponent's counter with his more powerful shots.
