Why not answer my question. What would be Incredible, Great, Good, Acceptable, Poor & **** fights for Burns May 11th?

I have told you mine so when the fight is made I can't be bias. You and your anti Hearn crew need to do the same.

Answer my question first. What are the fights for Burns May 11?

Ben Jacobs wasnt my main source that this fight wasnt on by the way. I posted a conversation on here with a presenter from a boxing podcast in the US thats part of the managment team for a Top Rank fighter. If you cant work out who that is....tough. He said what he thought was going to happen, and it happened. Also the fact Miguel Vasquez himself said it wasn't confirmed.....that was a pretty good one.

 

I already told you, Vazquez.

I'm not anti Hearn, I just happen to think that he's pretty much like any other promoter, thats not a criticism at all, just my opinion.

why not vasquez? hes been training for him, so has vasquez, still 7 weeks till that date but hey the first 3 fights you have with matchroom are a "thanks for joining us, here have some free money by fighting random bums" kinda thing.

If its Vasquez after his next fight? I dont care who they get in for the Rickster.
I just dont want to hear Eddie saying after Rickys next fight, "well, we will have Ricky fighting again in September, keeping him busy & building on the fanbase & then its a biggie early next year, I promise" Ricky is in the form of his life, & they need to strike while the iron is hot.

OK, so you 'purists who post here wouldnt fancy it, but its the casual fans dream fight. Big scottish tear up, good vs evil slant, if people paid top dollar for Haye-Harrison, is it really so outrageous to have Burns Harrison?

& Scotty would at least turn up & have a go. Theres life in that old dog yet. Trust me.

The threads about who Ricky Burns will fight next....and most if not all are giving there opinion based upon what will further his title stance and of course coinage.

Regardless......its laughable how some people on here are calling for a beltholder asap as Varren supposedly had one and he has changed promoter.......yet he aint been back in the ring for quite some time.


He needs a solid return...........and a beltholder next.......and that aint a prob for Hearns.


Wouldnt be surprised at a Broner fight after his next fight........given Broner aint staying up if the Mags fight is a defo.


Still surprised at how many and most argued or questioned the Vasquez delay over the last month but never questioned why a fighter with flu delays for 4 weeks.......

 

So Vasquez and Broner are the only acceptable opponents for May 11th?

Ben Jocobs has been threatend with legal action. Hes just a small tome journo 18 montjs out of college so he **** himself. Thats why he apolagised.

Who mentioned Broner?, he's disappeared into the distance and I'm starting to believe that Burns never fancied it in the first place....maybe not Burns as such but definitely his management team.

I'm happy that Jacobs is getting sued, if what he initially said was true then whats the problem?, nothing to fear...But if he's been economical with the truth or been a little over eager to get his story out without checking the facts then he deserves everything he gets. He's caused a bit of a storm, he in effect set the ****ing rabbit running. If he had done to me what he has done to FW I would sue his **** off, stitch it back on and sue the ****er off again before sticking dog biscuits down his throat and a rabid alsation up his arse
