He said it would be a great PPV event. Hopkins dont want those type of problems. Would you buy that fight? Scene #TeamPrinceN Mayweather Ward Broner Thurman
Ward is down for whatever.. Hopkins is being "slick" when it comes to Ward :yep would be an epic pass the torch kind of fight, but i'm fine with it not happening.
I'd pay for this Ward is down to fight him. Hopkins shouldn't have gone around saying I won't ever fight you
Don't sleep on Bhop. His mind works outside the box. He could have been planting the seed for a mega fight between himself and Andre. By him going out his way to tell Ward the he wouldn't EVER fight him....not for 10....not even for 15 million! He's insinuating that his paycheck would be that phat...That's a strategic move in my opinion. At 175 I give Nard a lot better shot than at 168 or some other catch weight. I like th3 fight if it happens sooner rather than later. Hopkins is a sly cat.....you gotta be careful not to miss any hidden meaning behind a lot of the things he says or does.
DEFINITELY But trying to get BHop to fight is a different story. Right after the fight he was in the ring talking down to Ward at the commentation table. It couldnt get picked up by the mikes, but Ward said basically what BHop said was that "there was no amount of money that would get me to fight you". At least thats what Ward supposedly interpreted as. Not sure exactly what BHop was saying to him but it would be interesting to hear from BHop what he said. He know there's impending doom once Ward is done with the Supermids.... Ward's already got a +1 against Dawson. Since Bhop effectively solidified the LtHywts (though i'd love to see a match-up vs Cleverly), BHop may be Ward's 1st target in the Lt. Hvyts....
True dat.... this wouldnt be the first or the last time a fighter flip-flopped just to hype up a fight and to build up his own purse...
:think Hmmmmm..... could be, could be. Good catch. The thing is, Hopkins has been saying this for years, so idk. But you could very well be right.
i hope you're what you're insinuating is right. also, if B-hop claims to "love" ward and have so much respect for him, how come he doesn't want to help him get his pockets fatter and boost his fame? he already has 6 "L's", what's one more? or, does he think that he will "ruin" Ward like he does most of the young and up coming fighters he fights? :think
Bhop should take this fight he would make a lot of money and a loss means nothing a win however would be historic
