We'll see. Haven't seen too much of Provodnikov. Is he much worse than Abregu? Roach usually gives his fighters a solid plan, regardless of how this last year turned out for him. And we all know JMM is after that money.

Damn 2013 starting off with some nice fights. Most suprised by the Peterson KO. Should be a good scrap.
You must not be one of those people watching Ghost's fights, because if you were then you'd know this is going to be a seriously competitive fight. I've said since day 1 this fight will not be a stroll in the park. However, Floyd has GBP in his pockets (they want the Saul fight), so even if the fight's close or Floyd loses slightly, he'll earn a SD win. I've got Floyd via a close UD or SD. This fight will be surprise many people. The primary reason people are giving Ghost no chance is because they want to discredit everything Floyd does. If Floyd beats Ghost convincingly, he gets no props from these same people because, according to them, "he's supposed to win". Likewise if he loses to Ghost, those same fans can trash Floyd even more, saying he lost to an underdog. It's a tell-tale sign of a poor boxing fan. For the record, Ghost will be a more competitive challenger than manny pacquiao would've been at any point in his career. Ghost can actually box.
Lamont going to smoke Lucas in what's going to be an, apparently, surprising performance to many ESB users here. These people have Lucas's **** shoved so far down their throats they can't see the forest for the trees.
I'm sorry. Was it Guerrero looking like **** and getting put on his ass by an almost completely shot Casamayor? Or was it him not being able to finish another shot fighter in Katsidis, something in which Marquez was able to do. I think it's you who hasn't watched Guerrero's fights. The only reason this fight becomes tougher than the Cotto(e) fight, would be due to Mayweather's age and/or inactivity. No one within their right mind thinks that 5 years ago, Guerrero would have ****ing chance in hell to even take 2 rounds. Maybe except your nutty ass. :nut
I've long been outspoken that the sole reason the fight will be competitive is b/c Floyd's 36. Ghost's in his physical prime and has displayed a willingness to use various tactics, including dirty tactics, to get the W. People think b/c Floyd's some brash ******* or has excellent defense that somehow his age is intact. He's 36 years old. Every fight from here out will continue to make his age more and more observable. Fighting someone like Ghost, who hasn't lost in 7-8 years (and he avenged his only loss, an SD, by KO). Ghost is also a somewhat savvy/smart fighter. He's clearly not on Floyd's level, but when Floyd's 36 you don't have to be smarter than him.
Emphasis of my post is on Floyd's age, not Ghost's fights 7 years ago. I don't think Salido's performance had much to gain from steroid use (which he did use), but Floyd and Salido have very different styles. If you want to nitpick what I'm saying I'll just stop responding to your roody-poo ass. I'm seeing WWE event soon, first time ever, gotta bust out the roody-poo. Fight will be close though, BOOK IT
I'm not nit-picking. It's just your whole argument revolves around what "could" happen in relation to Floyd's age. Yet you're declaring it like it's some kind of definitive thing. Salido doesn't fight like Floyd, and yes, the fight was seven years ago. Good thing Guerrero fights exactly the same way he did back then. Plus, if you paid attention to the fight, the areas where Salido really put it on Robert, was when he was able to turn him and unloaded. Guerrero isn't quick enough between offense and defense and that hasn't changed. I'm giving you real facts. You're giving me hypotheses. This might be the fight where Floyd truly looks his age, it may not be. But don't act like you're some kind of sage. You're just going with convention, but boxers don't get old in the ring, they get old in the gym.
