You've made good points, but I don't agree with comparing how many weight classed they've campaigned in. Manny's 154 title was also a joke. Roy was only capable of winning titles in 5 weight classes because of his size. He missed Cruiser because at the time he went up to heavy and came back down, he never gave it a seconds thought. You have to judge fighters on head to head skills, who they fought, but more importantly when, and evaluate all the circumstances involved.

If you're picking Manny, I respect your opinion, but you can't pick him by saying he's won titles in more weight classes. Otherwise he'd be the greatest fighter ever having won more titles in more weight divisions than SRL, Hearns, SRR etc.

Pacquiao fought and beat better fighters than Jones did, took more risks and climbed more weight divisions. Pacquiao of course

I laugh at the term "domination" as well. Roy Jones dominated. Pacquiao got some good KO wins but he lost a few, won some that felt like he lost, and was KO'd himself along the way.

Pacquiao also gave us some of the best fights of the last decade, plenty of fights worth watching over again. Unless you're a die hard fan, no-one would look up any of Roy Jones old fights (unless you're seeking a quick fix for insomnia )

    Pacquiao, quite easily

    Sasakoul
    Cotto
    Morales
    Barrera
    Margarito
    Bradley
    Hatton
    DLH

7 weight titleholder, taken numerous fighters 0's, lineal champ in a decent number of divisions

Plus what he did for boxing as a whole, he's been the one to keep it mainstream for last half a decade

Pacquiao dragging up old lightweights and getting outboxed was pretty great to see I'll admit.

I prefer watching Pac get spanked by cherrypicked lightweights.

 How wrong could one post be ?

It's close IMO, Pac has fought by far the better oppostion but obviously he 's had defeats in his prime.

wins over toney, an hopkins are legit great wins. they say hopkins was green n toney was drained but whatever they took the fights. jump up to heavy to beat ruiz was a big risk n great win
