How can you rate Hatton since he was past it and never beat anyone worth mentioning after?

    Again, contradictions....

It's about depth as well though, Douglas beating Tyson is one of the best wins in the history of the sport, but it doesn't make Douglas one of the best fighters of all time. Jones' wins over Hopkins and Toney are better than any of Pac's wins, but in terms of depth, it goes to Pacquiao no question, hence legacy wise Pacquiao must be rated higher

Yeah but Tyson was a one-off for Douglas. You don't beat Hopkins and Toney in about a year span by accident. So no, you're wrong. Face it, Hopkins and Toney sh*t on Barrera and...who? Cotto? And what's all this depth you're talking about? Worn down Morales? Who?

    No

1: Pacquaio, a former fw, moved up to beat a lww champion.

2: He was brutally koed. He was right to retire after that fight.

Does it really matter? He was barely over 140 for that fight and I'm sure he could still make lw at that point. Either way a former fw beating a lww is a notable accomplishment.

    So a former 154 lb'er beating a 175 lb'er in Hill isn't a good accomplishment :nut

Give it up dude, the act is old.

Maybe you'll learn something in this thread then rather than just arguing against Jones whenever you get the chance -

Virgil Hill going into the Jones fight was:
    -Past prime
    -Coming off a decisive loss

On the day of the official weigh in Jones threatened to cancel the fight. He insisted that the weigh in should be moved from the agreed 6pm that day to 6am the day of the fight, so Hill would not have a chance to rehydrate. Hill wanted to cancel but because of the money would later on agree to a compromise and weigh in at 10:30 pm that day.

This is what you class as a Good accomplishment?
