Roach was asked whether Pac would go back down to 135, and he said no. Manny couldn't make the weight.

Dude was an enormous lightweight. He weighed about what Broner weighs now, and everyone calls Broner a bully lol.

    It's not the same thing.

Hill had 4.5 hrs less to rehydrate than normal. He was going into the ring with a potential handicap.

As much i like Roy Jones, i have to say Paciqauo.

Despite all the antics that Pac did at WW, i still have him ahead.

Handicap? It was an over-the-weight limit bout. Jones handicapped himself from the beginning if we wanna use that logic.

Damned good post. General Zod has been blinded by the Top Rank Hype machine of "Pac being the little guy" yet he fights at WW

A over the weight limit were his opponent had less time than originally agreed on to rehydrate. Jones obviously thought it would affect Hill, which is why he insisted on it

Yeah so one advantage cancels out the other.

  9. 31 people don't know **** about boxing lol. A lot of Pac fans are gone so to see him only trailing by 10 votes or so speaks for itself . Specially on a forum full of Roidquez and Mayweather fans and people who just straight up hate Pacquiao and his fans. So it is clear Pacquiao ranks higher, that's a fact.

    I disagree.

If he had such a big problem with it then he should never of made the fight instead of threatening to cancel the fight on the day of the weigh in. Hill had already trained for that fight. He wasn't really in a position to walk away at that point.
It was out of order what Jones did and I'm sure he would not of liked it if the shoe was on the other foot.

They compromised on that. Just like they compromised with the weight to begin with.

I'm a fan of Floyd, Jones, and Pac and i voted for Paciquao. Voting against the obvious is something that *******s would do.

From my pov i think ydksab. I see you rag on Floyd's resume all the time when he got one the best and you want to say people dksab.

Pac went up from 106-150 RJJ went up from 160-HW
Pac has the record for most titles in different division- RJJ has the record for holding the msot titles at once?
RJJ is a PROVEN cheater Pacquiao is not
i think the big differene is in the competition they fought, also maybe if RJJ had retired after beating Ruiz he would have probably been ranked way higher than he is now

Hill could no longer make the lhw limit which is why the fight was agreed upon at a cw catchweight. If Jones did not like that then he should of turned it down and they both could of gone their separate ways. Instead he threatens to cancel on the day of the fight.

Look at where Hill is at that point

-He has just had a 6 week camp
-He had a chance to fight on HBO

He had no choice but to compromise at that point and Jones knew that, which is why he waited as long as he did.

So...like I said. They compromised on the weight and on the weigh-in. Each had an advantage.
