Well considering Floyd just publicly blasted him, saying he can't sell tickets, his ringname is gross. Not to mention, i think Ward looks up to Floyd and probably felt like Floyd stabbed him in the back.

There was no fuss. Calmly stated that while he's a fan of Floyd's, he'd be supporting his friend. Most people, who aren't overly emotional or sensitive, would take that for the harmless thing it is and not make a big deal over it, and certainly wouldn't attack someone's career over it.
