ANd I have no doubt I heard Floyd say (more than once) that God was on his side or helped him win a fight.
Not sure I approve of this, becuz Andre Ward and Floyd are cut from the same cloth... The only difference is one is humble and religious, while the other is a braggart... But they're both master boxers that get called boring, they're both Olympians, and they're both top p4p Floyd really got sensitive over that comment, but I see these floyd d-riders seem to enjoy it
until 38 eh. I can see him doing it. If he gets a high quality win like Martinez before he's even half way through 6, would you like to see him retire?
Boxing IS on national tv in most countries, just not often. But when they produce a champion he becomes huge and boxing becomes huge in the country. Martinez is gonna sell out a 40 000 seat stadium in Argentina, he just won argentinean sports personality of the year ahead of soccer star Messi. Not bad for a champion in a niche sport.
The highest paid athlete in all of sports is jealous of a guy who can barely get a few thousand people in a basketball Arena in Oakland?atsch
I dont....at least not since I was 5....:rofl I believe one of the biggest Summer Slams have taken place in the UK:hey
I was always expecting him to do May, September and a final fight next year in May again before he signed with Showtime.
Floyd is right, but it didn't need to be said. Andre Ward never attacked him. This is exactly why Floyd can't maintain any relationships in life. He believes he's the greatest thing ever, yet can't stand when someone isn't patting him on the ass at every turn. His overblown self-confidence is fragile. What happens when Broner becomes better than him as Floyd continues to slip? "Who's Adrien Broner? I made Adrien Broner!"
The aspect that i liked the most is that he didn't unrespect the religion; he seems to believe in god.
