Mayweather lets rip at Andre Ward

Remember when Floyd said Clottey beat Cotto? Then, when a fight with Cotto was made, he said he looked at Cotto as an undefeated fighter because Margarito cheated and Pacquiao brought him into a catch-weight. And then, Cotto, having just fought Margarito at a catch-weight that he'd wanted and Mayweather having fought Marquez at a catch-weight he didn't bother making had to make the point for the HBO Face-off that he and Cotto weren't like Poochiao, because they didn't go around taking catch-weight fights and got where they got the old school way. :blood I don't know if he's ever been in a lengthy interview without at least one of those getting through. I don't know what's more impressive, that he contradicts himself so much or that he still sounds smarter than Khan.

If you could find a way to fit any more nonsense into any fewer words I'd be flabbergasted.

 

Ward is a tremendous fighter but it looks like I'm gonna go against the grain here. I don't often agree with Mayweather but he's spot on about this 'Son of God' pious facade. Ward is the dirtiest fighter in the game today ffs!!! And his love of staying in California? Hmm maybe that has something to do with the Cali slackness in certain aspects of fighter regulation.

Rather incredible that cut he got from the inside of a headguard to delay his fight against Froch wasn't it?!!? Incidentally, other than 2 fights in the Caribbean, that was his first fight outside of California for 5 and a half yrs. And the cut from the inside of that headguard was so serious it delayed the Froch fight until the week before Christmas. Must've been an act of God.

 

Floyd's always been a very jealous, insecure person. He harboured resentment towards Morales for being the number one guy at Top Rank instead of him. He was a fan of Pacquiao before Pacquiao stole his thunder with wins over Oscar and Hatton. And now he's firing at his own friend for two reasons - he's creeping up on his pound-for-pound position and he's supporting Guerrero. Seems like unless you're an Adrien Broner that licks his testicles, he won't have anything good to say about you.

 

This whole "Ward acts all religious, but he headbutts people" arguement makes me chuckle . It really does.

 

I can't actually watch interviews with the guy. It's painful.

He's bitter, jealous and resentful and can't even answer a question without losing his train of thought and going off on an insecurity fueled rant.

Yup, that's the one. Where he's complaining about Pacquiao knocking down Mosley and walking through Cotto.
