Course it wasn't right cheating the scales. I think in that scenario. Mayweather was trying to show everyone that Pacquaio is not on his level. He wanted everyone to see that just because Pac could jump up two divisions to fight Oscar, that his toughest competitor in JMM couldn't do the same.

By the way I was supported JMM in that fight, and hated Mayweather for a few good months after. Until coming to my senses, and realising the method behind his actions which was helped come into light by the Pac drug testing fiasco.

Yeah, one side was innocently showing support for a close friend that represents his home area, and the other gets all butthurt from it and launches a scathing attack on his ability to make money and draw crowds.

There could be more to this then meets the eye, maybe. I've never seen Mayweather so hostile towards something so small.

I think Mayweather is annoyed with the media's adoration of the young generation in general. He's constantly talking about his achievements. I guess he could be annoyed at the fact, these kids, Canelo especially are glorified and throwing around ultimatums. After having achieved hardly anything in comparison in the sport.

If you remember back when Floyd fought Oscar. Oscar held all the cards, and that was after Mayweather had moved up multiple weight divisions winning numerous titles. Canelo hasn't done anything in comparison yet thinks he can command Mayweather over the table, it's not right.

Diego struggled badly for his last 3 fights to make 130 and had stated he was moving up but that he's fight Floyd anywhere (he hated Floyd) so Mayweather said he'd fight him at 130, knowing Diego would yet again struggle to make it. It took Corrales a second weigh in 30 minutes before the deadline to make the weight and he looked like a corpse when he finally did make the weight. Diego at 130 by then was like Brandon Rios trying to make his last few fights at LW. What the guy should have said was he stopped Diego from moving up to a weight where he'd have been comfortable instead of boiling down where he would struggle.

Good boxrec warrior skills though :good

Sadley, boxrec doesn't tell the whole story. Most of these posters weren't even paying attention to Floyd, let alone the sport, 10 years ago. If you weren't seeing things unfold in real time, then you only get a fraction of the situation through box rec and articles.

He's just bitter. He always has been. Jealous of other people's success/recognition. From as early as his Top Rank days against Morales, to Pacquiao in 09/10, and now to someone who's supposed to be his friend, Ward. It burns him when he sees other people getting attention.
