Just the fact that he had been talking about the weight struggle way before the fight took place. You can join the others on whether you think it was legit or not. Rios failed to make weight twice. Does that mean that he was drained for his previous fights over Acosta and Urbano? Does that mean that those fighters really suck because they didn't just lose to Rios, they lost to a drained Rios?

It's all just whatever. Being weight drained is legit to me if you fail to make weight or if it's your last fight at the weight.

Even then, who cares. You sign the contract, you make the weight, you fight.

Whatever happend with Rios...means nothing about any other boxer and their weight problems. We can't apply rules like they're one size fits all.

Like I said, Corralles had been talking about his struggle to make weight even before Floyd came along. Is there truth to that? I'm sure there's some, since I doubt he'd make a fuss over that if it wasn't legit. And he stayed at 130, sure. Unfortunelty, the only person who can answer things like 'why stay at 130', died. Could have been for money, title opportunity, found a better, more effective way to make weight, unfinished business....anything.

The fight would've been better at 175. I don't know how anyone could argue that. However, that's all Dawson's fault. He shoudn't have publically challenged Ward at 168 like that.
