Whoaaa! Canelo is a natural 154 lber. If he wasn't, he would have stayed at 147 and really challenged Mayweather. Fact is , he is a solid JMW with the size and power to deal with fighters in that division. Height is not the issue, he dealt with Citron and Citron is taller than Trout. Make no mistake, this fight is about skills and styles. Both fighters will have to put in some real work in order to win and whomever is better at imposing thier style through thier skill will win. I like boxers,bottom line because I lean more to the cerebral than the mechanical and my money is on Trout. That being said, Im not counting Canelo out because he has the power of a game changer.:bbb
Yeah I might I have overrated Lara a little bit, the Williams fight was at 160 but I think he clearly beat Martirosyan. Molina is definitely above Canelo and Trout.
Stylistically, I know Trout holds a lot of advantages, but I can't help but feel Canelo will rise to the occasion, show serious improvements, and live up to the hype in a big way.
