I'm not saying that Mundine beats Mosely at 154 but an all time legend like Mosely who is now about 40 yrs old shouldn't be happy to keep fighting losing virtual shutouts to Floyd,Pac,Canelo. He shouldn't be happy to pick up paychecks to line someone else's resume in fights no one thinks he can win. The guy should have a ridiculous amount of money in the bank/investments unless he is a complete dumb **** like Holyfield.

Genuine legends of sport don't continue when they can't compete with the best. Mosely can no longer compete with the best in his sport. He is embarrassing himself and it will only get worse if he continues.

Imo if someone like Mosely at his stage of his career is happy to fight an Anthony Mundine then it is cringeworthy. I'm baffled that any boxing fan would disagree with this.

Even if he lost 50% of his money in divorce he should still be filthy rich.

pretty much nobody can compete with those 3 names.

losing to them is NOT embarrassing. if he loses to the next tier of fighters, then he should no doubt give up at this stage of his career.

imo u r being very disrespectful.

It would have been nice to see Shane here in his prime but i think this would make for a sad spectacle and for interim title when the WBA already has a Super Champion and a Regular Champion... More Mundine bull**** really

I'm just stating the obvious about Mosely which most boxing fans would agree with. The guy is done and should retire. He is hurting his legacy.

He pulled the pin to fight top rank promoted PAC man. Barrera pulled the pin on golden boy when they told him to retire and signed with Don King so he could keep fighting.

Francis you make a valid point. He Should of retired a while ago. Took a terrible beating off Canelo. Which was a shame because prime for prime no way that happens. Being a Mosley fan that was hard to watch him not be able to pull the trigger!

Same result as Tarver-Green IMO. Even though way past prime Mosley beats and stops Mundine especially at 154.

i already said he should retire. but its easy to look done vs the 3 recent guys who he has lost to. they make many great fighters look ordinary.

he probably beats nearly the rest of the contenders even at this stage of his career.

he is the only one in recent times that i can recall who have had floyd hurt at any time in a bout with him.

shane would pummel mundine if they fought now. i'd watch it at the pub though yeah.

Buster the time from the Mayweather fight to Canelo fight Shane's reflexes have deteriorated very badly. He can no longer pull the trigger and his legs are gone. Sad to see but once this happens to a great fighter they start losing to guys that would never been able to compete with them in there prime. Look at when ray Leonard got stopped by Hector Comacho.
