Thats right a complete takeover of the BBBofC like his Daddy has done with Snooker?

The spin there is his Daddy has saved Snooker from oblivion.

The advantages are all that Boxing could compete collectivly for a TV rights issue with just one promoter in the same way the UFC has done in the USA. The biggest fights would then be made no problem.

Boxers such as Quigg would never be inactive due to their promoter losing TV rights.

Boxing below top 10-15 in each division could be sub contracted out to the likes of Hennessey and that little twerp Coldwell and be put on smaller channels.

    The BBBoC needs major takeover.

I would put Simon Jordan in charge.

Ideally yes, having all the fighters under 1 company would give a greater chance of the best fighting the best. Only thing is with snooker and darts there aint bigger opportunities outside the Matchroom owned companies but with boxing there would always be the lure of America.

Is this really what you want? Ticket prices would go thought roof, subscription fees would go up, and on top of that anything resembling a big fight would be PPV.

Only a while back during the Chisora vs Haye build up you were stating in the media Seb Coe should be put in charge.

    What's changed Frank?

I think they should definitely let Eddie Hearn control the whole of UK boxing and probably also put him in charge of things like our economy, schooling, and health care system, what could possibly go wrong with any of those ideas....

It would be a massive conflict of interest, and would lead to alternative sanctioning bodies being set up fragmenting the sport even more.

Looks like Eddie is doing for UK boxing what his dad (pdc) did for darts.

Signing all the top players and taking them to sky. Sky/Eddie have the resources and platform to revoloutionise the sport over here, could be very exiting times ahead (presuming sky are as keen as fast Eddie of course).

    Time will tell.
