    Great question.

I would ask him who the toughest guy in the gym he's ever seen is.

If I was there and my turn came to ask, I think I'd just thank him for giving so much to the sport and entertaining me.

I'd ask him who is the greatest fighter he's ever shared the ring with and if he ever seriously considered fighting Pryor and how he thought he would've went?

Here it is mate, good interview,he broke into tears a couple of time, a very emotional more sensitive type of guy. Never knew he was only 5'8 (according to himself) and Hearns is 6'2

Pryor turned down the fight, thinking the money wasn't enough

They came to an agreement later though.

Yes, he was going to fight him after Stafford. Pryor agreed to a $750,000 purse.

    I didnt know this.

When was that and what happened to prevent it? (assuming it wasnt SRL's retirement)

His retina, so yes retirement. He never made it to fighting Stafford in May of '82.

The old jokes are the best.Never surprises me that people still bring that up as if Ray ducked him.

I liked when Colin Hart came on.Probably a big reason why he's my favourite mainstream boxing correspondent.Unlike Jeff Powell...

Come back and let us know how it went mate.I'm genuinely pleased for you and definitely not jealous.

I love that you always have that on hand to put this drivel to bed for another night.:good

Yeah, I like Pryor but you can't say that a guy who fought Hearns, Hagler, Duran and Benitez was afraid of lil Pryor.
