    There are so many threads the same as this.

    Why not just look at some of the polls that where posted the day after the fight when it was actually fresh in peoples mind. Half the people voting in this probably haven't even seen it now.

    I remember scoring the fight and throwing up in my mouth watching that ****. back then I had Bhop winning by a point or something like that. I said I would never watch that **** again . . . and then I watched after coming back to the forum and people saying joe took it. I went back and watched it again and still do not know how people think Joe won . . . the guy threw almost no effective punches. BTW, I do not like Bhop (the only time I ever rooted for him was against Tito . . . including this fight). Either way nobody really cares anymore . . . just give it a rest. Joe is retired and Bhop will be on the way out soon

    This does seem to be a potential problem. Bitter dishonest people with agendas constantly parroting each other results in blatant lies becoming half-truths and myths being created.

    There's only one solution to maintain an accurate consensus here - all of esb are gonna have to watch the fight again;

    Calzaghe won,he did not allow Hopkins to set the pace and wore him down.that's why he fakes the low blows to get a rest..close fight but Joe outworked him

    Watched this the night before Cloud vs Hopkins and scored it 114-113 for Calzaghe.

    Tough to score due to Calzaghe hitting thin air and slapping with his shots and Hopkins landing a right hand once a round. Poor fight.

    Hopkins 115-112

    Didn't score rounds for Calzaghe based on his ineffective aggression, abysmally sloppy punching, and getting hit with the only clean power-punches in those rounds (courtesy of Bernard Hopkins' right hand).

    I thought hopkins won, the commentators on sky sports were hinting that calzaghe had not done enough as well but ive seen worse decisions.

    Calzaghe was like a deer caught in the headlights on that night. He just didnt have clue.

    Bernard did NOT look good in this fight at all , But overrall He landed the harder/Much more effective punches . Calzaghe flurries of slaps were hitting nothing but dust and air all night . It shocks me how 2/3 judges gave him the W when he was so ineffective with everything he did . Calzaghe lost his 0 that night . His body language says it all before the scorecards were read .
