So how come each and every time Floyd criticizes someone, people like you assume Floyd is jealous or envious? Maybe he just doesn't like certain things about Ward - the same way someone may not like your name or your avatar. Sure, Ward is getting a lot of attention. But I don't think Floyd has anything to worry about. Ward doesn't have the personality to carry himself to becoming a worldwide celebrity or a boxing superstar even though I feel he deserves it.

What does Floyd envy exactly? Certainly not Ward's earnings. He's not married to a supermodel. Some people are saying he's better than Floyd but....that's not new. Floyd's been compared to many different fighters from different eras and it happens everyday. He's used to it. Mayweather just feels like he can voice strong opinions simply because he can. It's a lot like the incident when he tweeted about Jeremy Lin. Was he envious of Lin? I find it ridiculous for anyone to believe he was.

What he did to Marquez was a disgrace, made the guy go up 2 divisions and didn't even have the integrity to respect the 144 catchweight. That's worse than anyone coming down in weight, bottom line is if Dawson said I'll go down to fight you that's his choice. I bet it wasn't Marquez' choice for Mayweather to come in at 144 after he's already conceding weight, height, reach and experience at 147... :roll:

Cotto's best is not 154, Trout proved that and Cotto's insistence on a 150 catchweight to Margarito proves that. Mayweather looked bigger than Cotto for crying out loud. Floyd is very clever, let's see if he fights Canelo or Trout after Guerrero and prove me wrong - I doubt it

 

man stop blowing things out of proportion. This interview by Floyd had no malice in it. Most people on the forum agreed that Ward should have went up also, BUT to Ward's credit, Chad offered to come down to 168 on TV.
So nobody is in the wrong here
