Spot on by Mayweather, the Ward-Dawson fight was pointless, perfect example of a fight that came and went and nobody cared. There's no-one left at 168, why did Ward force Dawson down to 168? Why not take a chance, challenge yourself and go up to 175? :-( Then Ward wanted to fight Pavlik next atsch, thankfully we have fighters like Mayweather who keep the sport entertaining

tbh, Gatti wasn't the best fighter at 140, but the best fighters was Tyzu, Hatton and then Gatti. You could argue Cotto is higher (not based off resume at the time), but Cotto was offered the fight and declined.

And then Hatton was Tszyu's mandatory and he beat him, so that left Floyd to fight Gatti.
