I was at the fight and with a mate who is a Gealey fan, I knew after round 3 how it was going.

I'm starting to get over it, I may return to normal one day

I was feeling about as positive in round 3 as you would have been negative, but by about half way though the fight Geale had accumulated so many rounds a KO became Mundine's only remaining chance.

Still can't believe how fast and sharp Geale looked, or was it Mundine being so slow? It was hard to tell which.

I think it was a bit of both to be honest, take nothign away from Gealey, He did what he had to and he looked good, but Choc hasn't been the same for a long time. Choc slipping and Geale getting better and better was never a good combination for me :D

Probably was a combination of Geale's speed and Mundine's slowing up that made Geale look so fast. Most expected Geale to win, but not to be able to toy with Mundine for most of the fight like he did, and have time to showboat around as well.

How many rounds did you score to Mundine?

It looks like it will be Soliman if he doesn't fail the drug test.

I'd really like it to be Martinez, but that's unlikely to be next.

    No idea really. :huh

I know not many people want him to figth Soliman but I'm interested to see how he deals with Sams awkward or as Larry Merchant described it A Spastic Crow style..

Watching it first time around at the pub I thought Mundine won 2 rounds. Watching it again, the most I could possibly see him being awarded was 4. He was barely competitive in the other 8 rounds.

I laughed when our resident troll claimed Mundine had won 8 rounds. I'm hardly surprised he failed to nominate the rounds like he said he would

Anyone who seriously believes Mundine won, even a huge fan, needs some mental help

Nobody really believes he won, not even himself. Though full points for his acting skills, eventually he may even convince himself of the lie

You may see your quote reproduced - full points for honesty and conciseness :good

come on your getting as bad as some of the Mundine fans now, Geale didnt TOY with him. Sure he show boated but thats not Toying with anything but himself lol, if anything what you claim is an insult to Geale, you claim he was able to Toy with Mundine but couldnt put the guy away? think about that for just one second. :hey

Was clear to me in the first Round mundine wasnt the same fighter anymore and Geale was much more improved. Thought Mundine may climb back up but it just never happen. It wasnt a schooling like Mundine v Green, if anything Geale held back, showed to much respect and in all honesty he should have been able to put Mundine away and wasnt able to which should speak volumes. Geale will struggle against the likes of GGG and Martinez. I doubt these fights ever happen and if they do Geale will get walked through and knocked out and i dont say that to be spiteful.
