The Best Light Heavyweight prospects

Zeuge has a lot of power altough he is still that young! He looks great. Could be a big deal soon.

 

I like Dirks, seen him on a few shows & he looks decent.

Gvozdyk (*spelling) looks exceptional, hopefully he turns pro once the WSB season finishes.

The Light Heavyweight division looks like a weird one, seems plenty of talent there but none of the top guys seems happy to face the contenders on a regular basis, real shame. The prospects look interesting, lots of youth there.

 

Zeuge was one that that site has been mentioning since his debut, shows that BP really has got his finger on the pulse.

 

Marcus Browne, 2012 American Olympian, is a very good looking prospect. 6"2, left handed, good hand speed and decent pop. Looks like a young Tarver with quicker feet. Definitely keeping an eye on him.

A lot to like about Browne with his speed, power, youth (he's only 22) and size. He could very easily be the pick of the bunch despite the fact I've not mentioned him in the list. There is something that troubles me about him, though I'm not certain what.

I had a few people mention Trever McCumby and Mike Lee to me and expected someone on here to mention them, I'm glad no one has. Browne is certainly a lot more promising than the pair.

 

I still have high hopes for Cedric Agnew, he's fighting Yusaf Mack in April.

 

Would have loved to have seen Agnew v Cleverly instead of Cleverly v Hawk.

German LHW Robert Woge (11-0, 10KO).
Saw him twice on German undercards early last year, and he clearly won me over. But of course he's nothing compared to Sergey Kovalev.

 

problem is clearly his style... his last fight was very very good to watch. but look at him after the fight!
I am german and could understand the talk between the rounds. His trainer always said to him you have to avoid getting hit. he just said I dont careatsch
with this style it will be very hard for him to get on the top. but maybe he can change a little.

 

Woge actually fell outside of my "age limit" as he's 28. Didn't think he looked very impressive against Hakim Zoulikha if truth be told (and the scorecards in that one were a disgrace prior to the stoppage). He'll certainly be fun to watch though.
