Seen one fight with him (he won by DQ) he looked very poor. Ruiz is the pick of the bunch and I've been saying that for a long time. Very young, fast, lovely combinations shame he's a fat guy though.

I just watched about 5 minutes of that fight, and he looked very sloppy and very easy to hit. Not good...:-( Think Wlad brought this guy in for some sparring in preparation for Wach.

Gregory Tony is also fighting tomorrow, against Fabrice Aurieng(who also is supposed to fight Kyotaro in his comeback fight next month) if Tony wins Kyotaro should pull out of his fight with Aurieng and face Tony, that fight makes a lot more sense on so many different levels.

K2 signed him up a few months ago. They used him for sparring quite a bit before hand. Will probably be used again for the Pianeta fight. wlad used him for the Thompson fight.

Rudenko and Tereshkin are both poor, K2 have just signed them to fill space on cards in Ukraine and actual Klitschko undercards in Germany, much like Banks and Ustinov in the past. They're not prospects.

Ouatah is decent. Got to the quarters of the 2008 Olympics (lost 10-4 to Glazkov) but has been inactive in his pro career.

Aurieng has had more fights than on his Boxrec (real record 11-5) as he's a regular in Bigger's Better which Boxrec don't seem to like as its technically unlicensed even though it attracts some experienced fighters. Whether he beats Tony depends on which version of Tony turns up. He has a tendency to quit when the going gets tough (see the Perez and Towers fights).

I fear for Kyotaro against any HW with a punch. Far too small for the division.

Also worth taking a look at Gary Cornish who is on the Skelton/McDermott undercard. He's not great, but Wlad wanted him for sparring a while back, so there must be something there.

Injury I assume? Split TD as well, very close stuff. Aurieng picking up the best win of his career at very short notice.

Ahror Muralimov beat Evgeny Orlov MD8. Orlov is a giant Valuev clone who is tough to break down. Good win for the 25 year old Uzbek who is now 14-0. He should fight one of his countrymen, let's see if he can retire Chagaev or Timur Ibragimov.

    Tereshkin beat the 6-4-1 fighter by scores of 58-57 | 59-55 | 60-55
Towers KO'd this guy in 3, though Pala only beat him 78-74.
