Maybe but 2 of the 3 judges had Calzaghe winning and thats what counts, not to forget that the overall feeling is that Calzaghe won :good

Oh my god watching Calzaghe just hurts my eyes.... look at that flailing slapping windmill.
The 1 punch Hopkins throws in that sequence hits flush and is worth more than anything Joe does there.

    Compubox stats:

    hopkins 127/468 = 27%
    calzaghe 232/707 = 33%

(Calzaghe also landed 71 more power punches)

Not sure how you can score a fight for someone who threw way less punches and landed at a lesser %. I like Hopkins but he couldn't keep up with Calzaghe's output.

:nono that was a rule-bending headbutt-right hand combo. Calzaghe won round 7 clearly.

    Calzaghe clear winner
Calzaghe didnt beat Hopkins on workrate, he beat Hopkins because Calzaghe was able to land his left more often than Hopkins could land his right.
    Calzaghe clear winner

Ottke held the more worthy titles than Joe did during his SMW regin. At LHW Joe didn't win a proper title.....Joe was good but not great.

Titles are secondary these days. It's who you beat and when that matters. But even on that count, Calzaghe could have had a few more good names on his list. I guess his resumé is on par with that of Lennox Lewis (Lewis had a few more names, perhaps, but also 2 losses)
