As people have said, one belt. The constant ducking has got ****ing pathetic. I hate that if there's two great fighters in the same division we just accept the fact they'll never fight.
Yeah I was going to mention the fact that it probably wouldn't change much, I do think it would help a bit though.
1) Every decision should be evaluated by an oversight body of some sort so that judges are held accountable for their actions. The NFL should be used as the model. 2) The licensing process for fighters should be more thorough. 3) World Championship fights should go back to 15 rounds.
Have more unifications to have one champion.. Don King had a great tournament in 1987 and Mike Tyson became the undisputed champ. Why not do that in all divisions.
The plethora of meaningless titles. Remaining organisations forcing the best to fight each other without bull**** ego getting in the way.
I would change the belts. 1 belt for the world champion. and 1 belt for every continent. Drug testing for all the fights if you're caught doing something banned for two years. This would really benefit boxing and make it alot more mainstream again.
Two belts per weight. That way we could still have unified divisions. Plus two dominant world champs in one weight class would be seen as direct rivals
What did you make of last nights scoring? I havn't seen it myself as I was in work early this morning so i'm going to watch it later, seen alot of people critisizing it though
Judges need to score fights based on watching it on tv. Much better vantage point than their one angle they get sitting ringside, give them that gods eye view that we get that way they won't miss **** if the fights on the other side of the ring and a fighters back is to them. Its easier to see close punches that miss on tv than in person, especially if its on the opposite side of the ring where the judge is
