I have boxed before boxed Floyd leading to the oscar fight and a I am a national champion, this fight can be made at 160 Bernard did it, boxers know ward wouldn't suggest it if he couldn't make it .. You forget he has fought at 160 and Bernard came down huge to face Oscar and he was much older than ward is .... The question is would Floyd do it ?
Floyd was 155 a week out from the fight .... He sparred with middles but he was close to us in wieght .... Every close he cut those last pounds the week of the fight

Ward is like a head taller...nobody would get credit for winning. Only people who would be satified are those who hate Floyd (or Ward) and want to see their "0" go (depending on who came out victorious).

Paul Williams was a tall, lanky dude. Ward is a guy who probably weighs in the 180s naturally, plus he is a bruising kind of fighter. There is about a 30 lb weight difference between the two (Floyd and Ward), and they fight in weight classes over 20 lbs apart (147 vs 168 ). I just don't see how it is a fair fight. One guy would be drained, and another blown up. The fight would not determine who is the better fighter, but rather who was the most hindered.
