That's because a lot of people felt JMM won the most of those fights. Marquez knocked PAC out cold in their last fight. Marquez doesn't owe PAC anything
Keep in mind this is also a business I am sure Oscar had allot to do with that think about it if he could get Alvarez his rising star a shot at the man who beat Pacquiao, and that man beats the guy who beat the guy.... Imagine what a Floyd vs Canelo fight would do under those circumstances.... that may or may have had something to do with testing that manny may or may have not wanted to agree to. there is very little chance of any that jmm, who is an extremely smart individual(just see him on espn deportes), is saying what he is saying not for negotiating purposes. imo, hes not even going to fight a tune-up. hes going straight to paq 5 so there in no chance of him getting injured, upset or what have you.
Sometimes I think you are a ***** with no common sense, sometimes, you surprise me. You are right Marquez won't get what he will get paid by fighting Pac a 5th time, not even by fighting Floyd. I don't see Marquez getting paid more than 3.5 million for fighting Rios and Bradley combined. If Pac/Bradley did poor numbers, Marquez/Bradley would do worst. And Rios, I doubt that fight would top the Pac/Bradley in buys. Not hating on Marquez. Maybe the "tournament" Arum was talking about, if promoted right, would get a lot of hype and spike up buys if it were to eventually happen.
