How do you rank Brandon Rios Punching power? To me he seems above average but not a one punch knockout artist he's just so relentless and durable and thats why he's such a threat. He can actually fight well on the inside too. I apologize if this has been done before in advance. Thoughts?

    It's a hell of a lot better than Guerrero's.

I don't think it's that good, had this conversation last night if he traded with Matthysse or Peterson it would get ugly for him, he is super protected I would even take Lopez over him

Rios vs. Peterson is probably the #1 fight that I want to see get made right now. That fight has the makings of an absolute classic.

He couldn't knock out a guy that has what many consider the worst chin in boxing, and he was able to land flush on him plenty.

Didn't claim he was Lucas but Peterson would have his way with Rios

    Very good.

    Think about it...

Rios has only two things - An iron chin and Strength/power - His inside fighting isn't even that great...

If Rios was an average puncher then he'd be nothing.

Maidana landed to, Khan does that sometimes, Peterson will be able to hit Rios at will I don't think Rios will do anything

Maidana didn't knock Khan out, but he had him on ***** street for 2 whole rounds. How that fight kept going was a miracle, and a testament to Khan as a fighter.

He came in 150 against 135 pounders, if he had the power people think the Alvarado fight wouldn't have went so long, if Danny or Matthysse had those openings it would be a brutal KO

He hits hard enough to make guys not want to trade with him. People really are underrating Mike Alvarado. Can someone name the last time someone took as much punishment from Rios as Mike did? Not me. Usually guys get put to sleep when they do like Antillon.

Its a testament to the ref who kept breaking them anytime Maidana got him on the ropes and started to land only for Khan to be given the oppertunity to run away again and again.
