Paul Chowdhry's joke worked about as well as a lead balloon there. Hopefully in between the next round they just keep it strictly boxing.

 

Patterson vs Maxwell

I'll start in R3 because I had to get my laptop to type

1st 10-9 patterson.

 

2nd 10-9 Patterson, but Maxwell did a bit too well for his ability.

 

Round 3

Both in the middle of the ring, nice rights out of a combo from Patterson. Hammering Maxwell on the ropes.
Maxwell comes back a bit.
Shoulder push from Patterson, gets warned by the ref.
Meet up again center ring, patterson getting the best of it forcing Maxwell to the ropes hitting him with good rights and a occasional left

10-9 Patterson (30-27)

 

Round 4

Good uppecut and hooks from Patterson, but he misses a lot too. Maxwell has some succes himself.
Maxwell on the ropes again, turns away and tries to get the momentum.

Lots of close by missed shots from both, only a few getting trough.
patterson composes himself and has a good end of the round.

10-9 Patterson (40-36)

 

MAxwell will stop that kid!

 

Round 5

Lots of faints and missed punches at the start, finally good bodyshot by Patterson but very careful again.
Attack with Maxwell on the ropes landing a combo.
Nice bodyshot again ith the left, and a left right combination late in the round.
Maxwell takes a few at the ropes, but the most miss

Patterson 10-9 (50-45)

 

Round 6

Lots of fainting again, but patterson finally hits him with a few on the ropes.
Couple of good bodyshots by Patterson, and Maxwell tying up.
Another good attack from patterson again. Missing most, but scoring a couple too.

10-9 Patterson (60-54)

 

He has to :yep

 

Round 7

Lots of mist punches from both center ring again.
Finally a landing right from patterson who gets a warning again for using his shoulder.
Few good rights from Patterson, nice left bodyshot and a right.

Right, left hook combo from Patterson who doesn't seem to have anything to fear anymore.

10-9 patterson (70-63)

 

Round 8

left hook counter from Patterson with Maxwell going for broke it seems.
Patterson working behind the jab, no forcing Maxell to the ropes againhitting him with a couple of ood shots.

Maxwell finally does something back, but gets turned around and punished for his effort.
Good bodyshot by Patterson.
Maxwell with a big attack and some goodd punches land.
Patterson has the end of the round again.

10-9 Patterson
80-72

 

Patterson gets it. Couldn't hear the score, but it was probably wide.

 

IJL is one of the referees tonight... and they're proud about that! :-(
