Why is Pacman still in most people's top 10 P4P lists while

David Haye is nowhere close? :patsch

Pac has lost 3 fights in a row, 2 of which were to a 40-year old grandpa JMM. Furthermore, most of his legacy is built on fighting opponents coming of loses and/or at a catchweight...

On the other side we have the Hayemaker (a natural cruiserweight) who is constantly fighting heavyweights and superheavyweights who weigh 40+ pounds more than the cruiserweight limit. :-( And he still beats them!

Can someone shed some light on this? Looking at their most recent 4-5 fights, how can anyone make a case for Pacman being a better P4P fighter than the Hayemaker??

Because one defeat was a robbery. The other one was to a fellow p4per, and the fight was close till he got caught . Haye lost almost every round to Wlad.

I would suggest Tomasz Adamek belongs on the list given his decisive wins over top flight competition in the cruiser and heavyweight divisions recently.

    Haye? Seriously?

Of all the guys you could possibly argue to put in place of Pacquiao, you go with Haye? David Haye?

    FFS.

I might sound biased here, but Viloria need a shout due to his performance the past year.

    Are you guys serious?

And who is Wlad? Please enlighten me. In addition, Wlad outweighs cruiserweight limit by 45 pounds whilst JMM is smaller than Pac.

Can't tell if serious or sarcastic... I sure hope it's the latter

Pac fought old, past his prime, blown up JMM and lost. David Haye fought a prime athlete in his backyard and still managed to win rounds.

The major difference, however, is that JMM didn't have to resort to hugging or putting all his weight on Pacman thorughout the bout in order to win.

    The bias is unbelievable.

P4P I'd rank a whole bunch of guys over Haye.

As for Pacquiao, I see nothing wrong with 7-20. I have him at 7 but that's as high as I could possibly see it. It is out of respect/praise for all that he did before his recent bad run. Same thing with an ATG like Mayweather, one defeat, depending on the circumstances, might be enough to drop him out of the elite P4P tier but won't be enough to drop him out of the top tier.

Regarding a P4P list, I just ask for consistency in what one values.
