Arguello vs JMM

Yes, people make excuses for his good performances, he KTFO out of pacquaio but.., he beat barrera closely but that's ****..., he ko'd Casa who no one had clearly beat but....,he beat Pacqaio 4 times but it doesn't count because he had a style advantage, he beat top contenders at FW and LW but it doesn't count because I couldn't be bothered to follow the division, yes he arguably beat everyone he faced but...

Where as other fighters performances are celebrated. Marquez is the McCallum or Burley of our era in many ways except he eventually managed to cheat the system.

Anyone styles make fights and Arguello has advantages, but speed is a big advantage in boxing, especially when you have the skill Marquez has.

Anyway I'm not picking Marquez outright here because Arguello is a monster but I'd say were in their prime fighting today no one in this thread would bet much on the who the winner was.

Arguello takes this quite comfortably IMO. JMM doesn't have the defence to take Arguello's bombs and if he trades with Arguello I feel he gets sat down, hard. Arguello just has too much for him, holds the advantages in this fight.

I'll take Arguello UD, or late TKO, with at least 2 KD's.
