If Flea ever answers, I bet it'll be with Monzon. It should be with Monzon.

I think Monzon should definitely be above Jofre, but that would only drop him, like, 2 spots, so...

He'll have to argue others for himself.

Wait what? Whats the Monzon talk? Hopkins did MUCH more than monzon ever did. Why is it being ignored?

I've already pointed out to McGrain how I don't like the 20 spaces and all. It was a whole thing, the universe was involved and all. Terms were come to. It's settled. I'm over it. He should be higher. It's fine.

well I guess if beating the same guys over and over counts as a mega legacy then go on for Carlos.

Good stuff by Carlos and its my only real gripe (not Carlos being ahead, but them being SO far apart) Hopkins should have fought Trinidad a few more times just to make sure. Then Hopkins took these chances to move UP when he shouldn't have and everyone doubted him.

There's a lot of this these days, with youngsters. "They should be close together." Or, "they shouldn't be so far apart." It doesn't work that way. Their relative strengths are irrelevant. It's the quality of the men who lie between then that is crucial. So, two fighters could have the tiniest of differences between them and be separated by 40 places.

what yungsters have ever helped you on a list of this magnitude? I havent encountered many young people past tyson era in the street.

Mac I love this whole thing. I was just wondering how much 'resume' vs 'skill H2H around that weight' vs 'records set' aka statistics.

    Just pondering my man :happy

Aye, and I've been enlightened to that now. It's caused me to tweak my position from "they shouldn't be so far apart" to just "Hopkins should be above Hagler." :deal

That argument's been done though, and it ain't my list. I won't argue it just like I won't argue the Pac/Floyd issue (turbo, just stop. Stop before you even do anything about this).
