A few months ago he won the glory grand prix (basically the same as k1. Long story short, k1 went bankrupt so all the best fighters went to glory) knocking out ghita in the finals

Greatest kickboxer in the history of the sport

I think he is talking about K1 heavyweights.

Fair enough, but for me that'd have to go to Hoost. His longevity, the era he fought in, his technical ability, his role in helping form K1s reputation and for the great ambassador he's been for the sport inside and outside the ring.

Schilt only won because Aerts and other greats were past of his prime at that point....

I am not going to argue kickboxing with you. I'm out of my depth. Hoost is a legend. However, Hoost is 0-2-1 against Schilt.

Not only that but hoost got wrecked every time he fought that freak show bob sap and was ktfo by the guy in my avatar every time he fought him

Hoost was a great fighter and champ, but schilt surpasses him

And yea I'm talking about heavyweight kickboxing

Boranbkk is this forums premier poster in regards to Thai Boxing. He is a former fighter that competed in Thailand. Boranbkk is this forum's champion authority on this subject.

Boran's technical commentary on Muay Thai is 2nd to none on this forum.

Unfortunately we have no film on him. Other than like a 2 minute training film that you can find on YouTube. Hipsters try to argue you can't rank him historically accurately because no one (alive) has ever seen him fight -- but we have footage of all his best opponents so it really doesn't even matter.

And Boranbkk's resume speaks for itself.

I like Schilt but can someone clear this up for me, how did that guy get fat? Or heavy? :D

    Schilt
    Aerts
    Hoost.
    In this order.

Prime for prime, Aerts was better then Hoost.
He also had better longevity, and now at age 41 he's still competitive with the young guys.
But Schilt has to be the best, 4 K1 WGP, and 1 Glory GP.
