Just read an interview with el Miami herald where they say he's 33.

 

He's going to be well into his 30's by the time Ahlin or Skoglund will be ready to fight for a title. In fact Kovalev is older than 2 of the active champions.

No one is questioning Kovalev's ability but he's going to be a fighter that many will try to avoid, especially looking at how weak much of the division seems.

 

That body shot by Ahlin was amazing, you could head it like a gunshot! Awesome to see a body snatcher with power like that! Very excited about him v Lihaug in a few weeks time!
