First was a Taylor victory. Difficult justifying 6 of the first 11 for Hopkins.

    Had the rematch a draw.

Had the first a draw. Hopkins snatched the 4th and fifth, and the last 4 were dominant. Can see why Taylor won, though. He was the one working, boxing, moving, and there were several rounds where Hopkins did jack. That isn't good.

The rematch I had Hopkins 7-5. I thought he started stronger, won the 1st, and despite Taylor actually rallying in the 11th to avoid a late rounds sleep, Hopkins dictated the middle rounds through a majority of the late. He made Taylor miss, and pay. Close but clear, imo. Won't call it a robbery, but the rematch was a bad decision.

Hopkins gave away the first 7 of 8 rounds,Taylor won the fight,I never understood the whole robbery cry,Hopkins finished the stronger and looked the winner at the end but he gave away too many early rounds..

I will never forgive you for scoring Hopkins-Wright a draw.

    Judges: 116-112, 117-111, 117-111. The Ring, 116-112.

    Not even remotely a draw.

Now you know how it feels to be like one of the minority, draw scorers, from the Chavez-Whitaker fight. :good

Taylor can be excused for incompetence. Hopkins' actually 'strategy' was to stink the joint out.

I think Taylor won both fights. The two fights went the same way...neither man did anything different in the rematch.

I think I scored the first fight a draw and scored the second for Hopkins. I should watch them again, I didn't think they were as boring as people make it seem. Two chess matches.

I rewatched and scored both for a thread back when i first joined

I know i flip flopped and gave Hopkins fight 1 after giving it another watch

fight 2 was all Taylor who won the first 7 rounds without argument and took at least one late round

i always found Hopkins kind of dumb in the first fight, he had Taylor very wobbly and hurt but would do this dumb shoulder shake taunt rather than follow up

did he not think there was any chance he was behind, i to this day think he could have stopped Taylor if he truly went for it

First fight to Taylor by 2 points. Second fight i had Taylor by 1 point i think, but from what i remember it could have been a draw as well.
