Lot of cool stories here, especially the SRL meet-and-greet deal. Thanks for sharing for those of us who wish we could have been there.

Also, Vince tried to get me with the "who was the greatest division jumper ever"...it was Armstrong, obviously (its his fave guy) and then I mentioned Ike Williams and he was kinda shocked I knew of him.

i cant believe anyone would pay a hundred bucks just to shake hands with Leonard.

th ability to jump divisions is an empty feat when u cant handle someone your own size but has speed

    see what I'm telling you?

OK, we all get it. You hate Leonard.

The guy was just telling a story that quite a few on here would find interesting. I know its a forum but if you dont like him then cant you just not open the thread?

I just cant imagine wasting money like that. why would he even charge his fans? Does he need money?

and why object to asking a few tough questions, bringing up the opponents he dodged. believe me, if I had attended, Sugar would be hanging his head for a week

Come on now, they all do it. This year alone theres been Tyson, LaMotta and Hagler ,that i know off, doing these Q&A's in the UK. You cant single out SRL.

Also i dont object to tough questions when it calls for a debate, but you are in the vast minority for nitpicking over leonard and the OP was only mentioning an event he was at rather than starting a thread about his career/opponents/achievements.

If you had have attended, like you say, you'd be laughed outta the place if you came out with that terry norris ****. Every man, woman and child will concede that SRL was completely finished as a fighter when he fought Norris yet you never ever acknowledge this and carry on like it was a prime Leonard he fought. Its no different to me claiming that Berbicks was a great victory over Ali

How come I didnt see every man, woman, child pick Leonard before Terry mopped the floor with him?

what's that u say? u dont have a credible answer? :yep

people like u always have your reserve excuse ready "Leonard was on drugs. Leonard was an addict. Leonard was an alcoholic. His divorce messed up his head. He was too light, & so on"

name me ONE similarity between Ali of the Berbick fight and Leonard who just came off beating Duran 12/12 you human parrot. I could swear u picked up that line from others using the same echo chamber

In no way did he resemble Ali of the Berbick fight, speeding his way past Duran. But u keep ignoring the obvious, then go on repeating yourself "Leonard resembled Ali of the Berbick fight. BLAH BLAH!"

    so original & insightful

I will agree with u on one thing: that loss shouldnt be held against him. and so what if he couldnt handle Norris? Terry's freakish speed, use of angles and ability to pull the trigger, make him just about impossible to beat.

What weight did he fight Duran at again?

What weight did he fight Norris at?

Also, even as a good win for Terry, he's still ****.
