Mosley, Marquez, Corrales. That said, Mosley hadn't fought in 15 months and Marquez was moving up from 135 to 147.
Yes and no. But of those, Corrales was truly impressive and Mosley was borderline (a lot of folks still thought he was a monster going in, but after the fact pretty much everyone knew he was shot). Nobody gave Marquez much of a chance due to the sizer difference, and Hatton had already struggled at his move to 147 before and he probably did better than most people expected, if anything. The other fight where Mayweather surprised some people was DLH, but he was back end of the top 20 at the time. But yeah, it's one of the best records against top 10 P4Pers of any active fighter. Pacquiao beat three P4P guys, but not that high. Jones beat two, but one of them was #2 at the time (over Toney). Holyfield beat one and drew one, but he's half retired. Hatton beat two (Tszyu and Castillo, who if you look back was about #7 unbelievably), but he's re-retired. Part of the problem is that guys who are on the P4P list tend to be overrated, because once you get on it, you don't drop off until you lose.
What the **** do you know about context scumbag? You didnt go to college and instead went on a meth binge dont you remember?
You are full of ****, you use what little you know and mix it up to try and support your train of thought ( usualy ***** orientated ). Mosley Fought Cheato in Jan of 2009 and ONLY a month before Pac beat ODLH in his first outing at WW. So how does beating a guy ( that you say was not a natural WW at that time ) who was not ranked at WW get you a top 3 in the Division?? If you had said P4P that would of been fine, but you never. And why? Because you are A *****. Simples.
Um what the **** you talkin bout Limey? http://www.pacquiaovideo.com/2009/11/ring-magazine-welterweight-ranking.html?m=1
There you go again you Yanker. You were talking about how Mosley had just defeated Marg and along with May Pac that gave them top 3 WW.. Your link is for November 2009 10 months later..
Winky and Trinidad yes, although both guys were moving up in weight (Trinidad did have one fight before against a fringe titlist that he won, but Winky was jumping two weight classes). Oscar and Pavlik were both fringe top 10 (and both of them were moving up too). Calzaghe was top 5 (also moving up), but he officially lost and I personally think he lost close but clear.
Um Mosley was top 3 welter and top 3 pound for pound when he fought May thus what this discussion is about. **** off son
I was replying to your quote, ****witty. Which you twisted to suit you as per norm.. And if I am your son?? **** off senior citizen
