Time to give Freddie Roach his due credit as a great trainer... again!!

    All the **** he's took off guys who know next to nothing of the practical side of boxing who have said Roach teaching this or that wrong on here. He has just taken another guy onto the world stage so is it now time to give him his due credit again?


    You can take a horse to water but you can not make it drink. Any trainer will tell you that they can not make some who doesn't have it anywhere. Roach took Pacquiao to the p4p number one spot, he took Khan as far as he could and Chavez was simply too lazy but Roach still took him a long way yet some idiots here who have never been in a boxing gym in their lives have tried to say he does this and that wrong etc.

    A crap trainer can stop a talented fighter from becoming great but a great trainer can not make a crap or lazy fighter great.

    He's is a great trainer. He hit a rough patch but has done great things with so many fighters. I mean seriously none of us thought Ruslan would be that close. (I had the fight a draw. Gave Ruslan a 10-8 first round)

    The joke coach Roach is a good trainer. Just that when your fighters fight the best they are going to win some and lose some

    I was just about to start thread asking if Freddie has lost his touch? I cannot remember the last time one his fighters won on the big stage? I think both of his fighters looked extremely crude at times. I think Provodnikov looked good because Bradley came in with a chip on his shoulder and tried to "hook with a hooker" . . . in other words Provodnikov did so well because Bradley fought his fight instead of using his superior boxing skills.

    on a side note, I never ever cared for Bradley but hearing his story since the Pac fight made me want him to go great. I never followed Provodnikov only seeing clips of his fights but I was equally touched by his story. I was really torn going into the fight, one that I felt indifferent towards both guys.

    You can say whatever you want, but it was perfect strategy to fight Bradley.

    Imagine boxing without guys like Provod or Pacquiao, most people always crying about boring fighters like hopkins, mayweather, ward and at the same time they dont give credit to trainers like Roach, who makes exciting fighters. You guys are like chameleons. hehe

    I'm with you...his story made me really start rooting for him...its sad and you could see the hurt that he was feeling...imagine his family...I bet Bradley now says "I see why mayweather says ****ed fans and legacy ...I fight for money and that's it, because these mother****ers ain't gonna be here for you."
