shut the **** up will you. It doesn't matter if you score an even round 0-0 or 10-10 the result is the same and different athletic commissions have different standings on this. Prov hit Bradley twice which hurt him, Bradley falls into him and Prov steps back there is no push, it is a clear knock-down. Also, by the rules of many governing bodies if you get knocked down and fall back down during the count you are immediately stopped. So by the rules of many states (not sure about California) Bradley by all rights could have been stopped then and there. Full credit to him he has the heart of a lion and went on to last 12 rounds. Also give it a break will you, that's like saying Foreman would have beat Ali if he had more speed or Malinaggi would have beat Cotto if he had more power. Fact is Bradley isn't very powerful that this level simple as that.
I firmly believe that all fights of that magnitude should be reffed by either Smoger or Bayless..... while other refs work the lower fights until they have proven to be competent enough. Missing that first round KD was inexcusable especially after Bradley chicken danced and fell again.

The only reason it was "as clear as day" was becuz of the replay. It was obvious he badly hurt, but DID HE GO DOWN FROM A PUNCH?? That wasn't easy to tell n u know it Second of all, Bradley was winning the round one-sided before he got hurt, without a knockdown u can't steal the round from Bradley 10-8 just becuz ur pissed about the Pacquiao fight or something. Learn to read between the lines, my point was he was landing hard shots too, and if he had power you'd have noticed
:roll: why? if a guy stumbles after trying to get up then it is unfair on the fighter who was pushed down. we understand that bradley was hurt but he was pushed down. similar in tyson-lewis when mike gets caught with a huge right hand and goes on his haunches but doesn't touch down...that was considered a knockdown. but earlier on in the fight. he got caught by a right hand which then lennox leaned on him...which is exactly what a good amateur does. when the legs are weak. lean on him and his legs will give way. that wasnt considered a kd because it is leaning on your opponant. [yt]oFo6rSluwxg[/yt] now lets take it the other way round. this ref changes his mind...which to me is FARRR worse. consistency is the sign of a good ref not the change of a mind. honestly i am happy either way honestly. he was hurt badly and stumbling before but it was a flip of a coin choice. he looked like he got pushed down/slip but the ref almost changed his mind whichim glad he didnt becuase it wouldnt of looked anything worse
He stumbled and fell from effects of the punches he had taken earlier. The ref should've called a KD once he fell down without being pushed. For starters, the ref was wrong to pick a fighter up even if he thought it was only a slip. He should observe the fighter's condition and see whether he's capable of standing under his own power. If he can't, then he shouldn't be helping him back into action irrespective of whether it was a KD or a slip. Secondly, I don't agree that this was "worse" at all. I think it's better than the ref acknowledged his mistake and the reality of the situation. I'd argue that consistency is a sign of stubbornness and a refusal to admit mistakes. Refs should doing their best to acknowledge reality - after all, the fighters' careers and even lives are on the line here.
Bradley went down from the left hook and the ref didn't see it while standing on the side of the punch? Calling a slip after flurry of punches? Clear incompetence or worse
that was a kd!! fight should have been a draw. great fight but shocking that a Provodnikov level fighter had a draw with Bradley...damn! Pac must really be done, I mean I know Pac beat him but prime Pac woulda destroyed a guy who draws with Provo
He was down! However, that would have make the fight a draw. And with a draw Bradley still retain his belt. So no damage done. As a matter of fact, counting it as a knockdown Bradley would have received a 8 seconds count to recover from the punch
I scored the round 10-8 because I believed it was a KD in round one, just now watching the re broadcast and no it clearly was NOT a knock down.
