That might have been the most complete MMA fight I have ever seen. Both guys were absolutely superb in every single area. Both highly skilled, game and took big shots well. Shame there had to be a loser. With Hendricks wrestling base and his knockout power and ability to cover the distance he might have as good a chance as any against GSP.

I agree...still think Carlos was more active on his back though

    Agreed.

I think if Hendricks can throw around condit and treat him with that little remorse then GSP better have his wits about him

And Hendricks ascension to this title shot has been the most exciting since Jon jones

I think Hendricks knew Condit was doing more damage from his back so kept letting him up to score take downs. I dont think he would have lasted in a 5 round fight as he seemed completely gassed in the third.

Both guys fought well, but Carlos seemed willing to let JH take him down as he was happy working on his back, worked in Johnnys favor with the Judges

EXACTLY....that why I'm either kinda getting tired of tje judging or that kind of attitude...

I'm really afraid for Mousasi because of this, I just hope he will be the more intelligent guy and work on his TDD

Condit fought a great fight. He took some shots. Hendricks needs to work on that Cardio. Dont know how much that left hand really bother him but He had zero offense in the 3rd.

The judges dont see the guy on the bottom working for subs they only see the guy on top and that isnt fair play

Good point. Many fights I've seen puts bjj at a disadvantage but planning to fight defending off your back isnt genius. anyone fighting off the ropes miss out on points in boxing. at least the scoring is fan friendly.

I thought Condit should have won. Even though he kept getting taken down, nothing was accomplished as a result except Condit doing some nice work off his back.

First and foremost Carlos Condit has a solid set of whiskers! I mean granite!

Technically the fight was playing out at a high level :deal Condits JJ & striking against Hendricks explosions and outstanding display of "wrestling for MMA", almost every TD was through perfect timing off Condists strikes, it was a master class in that area! what a great fight

Condit would of finished Hendricks in a 4th round, Hendricks has work to do on the cut, he should consult Mike Dolce for the title fight, you can see he's enormous and he carrys excess body fat, tell tail sign that he aint cutting right, ill rephrase that, he aint reducing his body in the correct manner throughout his camp. This was underscored by his lack of cardio into the latter stages of the fight.

It takes as much energy to sweep and stand as it does to shoot and secure a TD, Condit worked as much as Hendricks and was fresh!

Hendricks has work to do for GSP, but im intruiged, can St Pierre take his power? I dont think he can!

Mousassi has no wrestling! at least Condit can defend a TD.
