0WTF? Social Media is going nuts over the UFC fight while Bradley and Ivan Drago.....

My twitter feed was being blown up by boxing. Tim Bradley was trending in miami at the same time as ufc nick diaz/gsp. And meta world peace gave a shout out to bradley last night on twitter.

 

I missed the Bradley fight for the UFC card. :conf

 

Yeah it's because UFC is trendy. Not all of these people like it. They just pretend to like it so they dont feel left out.

UFC is still a fad... Rousey is the best thing about it.

UFC is still sloppy punches and boring grappling. It's Dana White Hype!

 

I don't watch two ***gots rolling around on the ground ****ing.

So much butthurt that the GSP fight was an event in the sports world that people actually gave a **** about, while the Bradley fight against a guy whose name nobody even knows came and went without anybody noticing.

and yet they feel the need to come over here and let MMA fans know their thoughts. For a bunch of blokes who hate MMA, they sure have a lot to say on our MMA board.

 

Btw, I didn´t see social media users going nuts with the UFC from the last night, at all.....I guess it depends of your country.

To be fair it was first posted on the general.

I watched the GSP fight right after the Bradley fight. I understand why one would get more hype before, but I'm also disappointed why the other didn't get the credit it deserved on social media after the fact.

 

I empathize with you on that but that's a problem with the sport of boxing in general. There needs to be a better promotional system in place than what they have now. Joe blow casual fight fan doesn't really know of any name boxers outside of Pac or Mayweather, so the interest is lacking.
