He admitted that he thought he was concussed from the early rounds. He continued to get punished throughout the fight and said he was still dizzy after the fight.
It's not wrong, it's just dumb as **** considering he clearly won the most rounds and even if given a KD in the first the Russian still doesn't win the fight. Furthermore, Providnikov took an ass whipping too, so I'm not sure what you would be referring to.
I'm actually disgusted with Diaz for not stopping the fight early. Bradley took an insane amount of serious punishment, and may well have suffered brain damage. ****ing Diaz, he was probably so desperate to finally get a true win, that he didn't care. Bradley surely told him something like " don't you dare stop this fight" but it's a trainer's job to protect his fighter.
I would not be surprised if Bradley is diagnosed with bleeding of the brain. He just took a tremendous amount of punishment and was glassy-eyed in the post fight interviews.
Yeah, looking back that "delicate" feeling described earlier is something I kind of felt after a hard sparring session.
atsch (hitting myself in the head) I meant Diaz, of course. Jeez, my brain has been slipping all week. I must be getting old.
At the end of the day as boxing fans we are well satisfied with that and my £10.00 a month for boxnation this month is justified.. Happy days.. Good times.... :hammertime
Great Fight..If the ref called that KD in the 1st around it would have been a Draw...They need to have a Rematch early 2014...
