Anyone else think GSP wants nothing to do with Hendricks?

I think it is weak for an elite level fighter, its certainly his weakest attribute. Also who has he out wrestled that is as good a wrestler as hendricks ?

It's actually four people. Plus Jake Shields, but I don't remember GSP wrestling with him.

What has Hendricks shown in MMA to say he is a level above any of those guys? He got out wrestled by Rick Story.

 

Pretty much every one he has faced had legit grappling credentials, but Hughes, Trigg, Sherk and Kos are all good to great MMA wrestlers...

 

Seriously none of those guys were at the level of hendricks, on paper he is way ahead of all those guys, he had a better record of wrestling in college than anyone mentioned and has proven his wrestling to be pretty good in mma.

 

They might be good but that doesn't make them as good as hendricks at wrestling.

I will say this

For the first time in a long long time GSP had a notable wobble in the cage, and he looked vulnerable, this transcended to the look on his face after the fight and in the post fight presser.

This is potentially a man who has plateau'd and who may just be on the slide, ever so slightly.

Hendricks is a young man determined to get that belt, he has scary KO power and can wrestle as good as St Pierre, he's got every right to be worried.

St Pierre has beat them all, in every shape and size for half a decade, can he still get up for guys like Jonny Hendricks?

MY whole point has been missed anyway, gsp isn't good enough to hold hendricks down like he did to nick diaz and if hendricks can land a good shot on gsp he hasn't got the chin to take that kind of power. Styles make fights and hendricks imo is a bad style match up for gsp compared to most other fighters.
