I wouldn't be surprised if Ricky outweighed Floyd and I imagine he probably did. But Floyd is taller, equally strong at 47 and possibly a smidge stronger, and with better reach obv

Again bozo, most in those you just named are 2nd tier.

A great big man will almost always beat a great little man.
However, great little men often beat good big men who are not up to great status at the point of matchup!

Which one of the big men that you just named do you consider to be great and fighting at the top of his game at the point of matchup?????

Now get out of here clown! :yep

Plus Mayweather held advantages to work with over Hatton, like quickness, speed, height, reach........
Because it was Hatton moving up to face Mayweather, Mayweather was acclamated to the weight better and had a style better suited to acclamate himself to the weight better.

When you have a fighter like Hatton who's stenghth is to maul, you'd rather fight that boxer (Mayweather) at the lower weight class and have him be lighter as Hatton tried to maul him.
The fact that Mayweather was better acclamated to the weight class, helped him fend off Hatton's mauling tactics as it looked like to me Mayweather was a little stronger physically on the inside than Hatton.

Floyd is a beautiful pure boxer, Bradley is not.

If Bradley tried to out box JMM, he would get schooled.

Bradley would be better off getting into a war against JMM.
If he can compete with Pac in a war, he can handle JMM.

Pac takes breaks in his fights and gives JMM space, I think if Bradley could keep aggressive and close the gap, he could limit JMM's ability to counter punch effectively.

I'm just stating the obvious. The lone A level great fighter Mayweather has ever faced was a blown up lightweight with not a single physical advantage to his side.
I'm stating the reason why the fight was one sided. Its the same reason why it would be so one side in Andre Ward's favor if Mayweather matched him at 160 lbs.
Ward is too big and holds physical advantages that a great Mayweather would not be able to overcome.

The names of fighters just thrown at me by boxsensei are of fighters nowhere near elite level at the time Mayweather faced them.

Mayweather in his career has yet to fight an elite in his prime.

If Mayweather would to do what Marquez did, go up two weight divsions and matchup vs an elite great who held every physical advantage over Mayweather, my opinion is that he does worst than what Marquez did against him. Thats my point here my friend!

think Bradley gets stopped regardless of if he sticks to the gameplan or not this fight would have took alot out of him, if Marquez lands anything decent he will wobble Bradley

He wants to claim something that's rightfully his, isn't it obvious? He beat pac in a 3rd fight but got robbed, for timmy it was vice versa he actually got handed the belt, ain't that some **** :think.Tim struggled against a tough Ruslan floyd/Marquez are elite technicians, they would pick him apart.Bradley won't give up i'll give him that much.Unfortunately heart can't win you every fight.

I'm not sure what the weight for Hatton was that night or a least what he rehydrated too.But Floyd not only had the advantages you just mentioned ,he also had the edge in experience at welter .

.Hatton wasn't equally strong there ..He actually IMO got completely exposed in the Collazo fight prior to his bout with Mayweather. Which showed he really didn't belong at tha weight .

They fight nothing alike. Floyd is about hit and not get hit. Bradley fights like a bully with a pack of bees. Relentless aggression.

When Bradley got on his toes and boxed he looked great. However, that's not his nature. He likes to go toe to toe, and that will play into counterpunching Marquez's hands. 116-112 to the winner and new WBO welterweight champion of the world Juan Manuel Marquez.

Hatton called Floyd out. So he voluntarily moved to WW, therefore Floyd's physical advantages can't be used to discredit him. Also, ~90% of Floyd's fights he's the smaller guy. Cotto, Ortiz, Shane, DLH, Baldomir, Corrales, Gatti, JLC1+2, etc.

Floyd neutralizes size and power with speed and technique... a masterful way to defeat bigger opponents.
