by Prov, would anyone had a problem with it? The guy was in more trouble than many guys who have been stopped before. It may have saved years on Bradley's career too.

he kept punching back. yes, i would have a problem with it. he's a champion and shouldn't go out like that.

I would have said something like "early stoppage, Bradley was fighting back", but like Kellerman said, was Alvarado really in much worse condition? I wouldn't have been shocked.

My ****in heart was pounding. After the first two rounds I was bracing the whole time for the shot that was going to put him out cold, for ten rounds straight. :-(

  5. If Provodnikov would have landed AT LEAST 3-4 straight shots to the head in those ropes it WOULD'VE And SHOULD'VE been stopped. If only.

Bradley was fighting back too much, he was never defenseless like Alvarado. He took an almighty beating that round, don't see how some posters have a problem with 10-8.

A better case for stoppage in Rd 1. If that KD is called, that gets stopped by most responsible refs.

Alvarado stoppage was premature so Max was full of it last night.
Bradley was throwing back after getting stunned in every engagement.

It was premature for the viewers, cause the fight was badass and you wanted the coup de grace. But I bet it wasn't premature to Mike, he was defenseless.

No doubt people would cry early stoppage, but in that twelfth round I was expecting the ref to stop it when Prov landed two monster shots on Bradley against the ropes.

He ping ponged Bradley's head and even though Tim was still swinging I would have no problem seeing it end right there. It would have been insane if Prov could get the stoppage, but the ref barely gave him a single knockdown when he should have had around three.

At the same time, I love that ****. I got similar feelings from Martinez-Chavez and Pac-Marquez. "Holy ****in ****" moments are what make boxing the greatest sport in the world. Other than the skill and heart put on display.

It was premature for tthe fight.
There were moments earlier in the fight where Alvarado unloaded on Rios and Rios didn't respond either, but the ref let it go. The first time Alvarado is hurt he jumps in too quickly and never gives him a chance to punch out or recover.

The score cards that all had Rios ahead confirmed my suspicions about the fight.

Has was on the ropes unable to put his hands up and protect himself. Highly unsatisfying ending to that fight, but it was gonna get worse for him very quickly. Taylor was in the same posture when Froch stopped him with 15s to go.
