Alexander v Brook - Predictions!

I'm going to be bold and brave. I'm going for a Brook KO.

Alexander is slippery and will try to spoil but Kell will surely be prepared for that. The fight's been postponed twice FFS, surely he'll have spent the extra time in the gym wisely. People say Brook is going to get exposed, I just don't see it personally. Even if he loses on points I can see Kell coming out of this with a lot of credit and respect.

Brook can punch when he sets his feet, I can see him seriously rocking and maybe even stopping Devon if he can land some hard shots clean. You've got to remember, he came within a hairs breadth of stopping Carson Jones in the first half of that fight.

I seriously believe he can do it, you can see just how badly he wants this. Alexander clearly thinks this will be a walk in the park and that's a giant mistake IMO. **** all the pricks like iron_cunt who think he has no chance. Come on Kell!

 

Alexander SD isn't a bad shout.

I do think Brook will win though.

 

Brook has to beat Alexander clearly to get the nod, and I really cant see that happen.

Alexander for me UD.

For Brook this is a big step up in class away from home he will not get anything easy from the judges.

If Alexander underestimates Brook then things could change if he is complacent i just don't see Brook winning on the scorecards.

 

I think Alexander Points, I think the odds are stacked against Brook big occasion away from home. Alexander is a busy looking fighter so whether he is connecting or not he will still get credit. Brook has the skills but isn't elusive enough or hit hard enough to produce the one sides victory that will be needed on the scorecards or by brutal knockout to win.

Brook puts in a very creditable performance but loses on points.

 

Yes id say Brook has the mental edge here he wants this more, he came close to the edge and learned which has made him worker harder and made him more determined.

Alexander as you say thinks this will be a stroll in the park :huh

 

From what I've seen of both so far, Alexander on points.

It is pretty stupid. A SD is what happens when 3 different judges score the fight and one of them picks a different winner than the other two. One person can't score a fight as an SD, you either think Brook/Alexander are going to win on points, win by KO, or draw, either way it's your prediction, there's no split or majority about it.

Yeah I've had that thought for a while. How can people possibly predict what the judges are going to see? SD predictions are really odd :huh

kell won't get a better chance to become champ, ww division is weak right now with alexander being arguably the weakest champion he will face in his career. Looks like paulie will face broner and expect him to lose so don't really see kell going that route should he lose.
