This will further the divide between Oscar Boy Promotions and top rank.

On the bright side we may get more fights out of each company since they won't fight for dates on the same network

Can someone explain to me what the problem is between HBO and Golden Boy. It seems like two years ago every major GBP card was on HBO and now none will be?

    Less than two years ago.

Top Rank used to be in bed with Showtime.

    Now they've essentially swapped partners.

Ewww, the Bobfather's sloppy seconds. What a thought. :dead

What's the situation looking like re: network televised fights?

Do GBP have a solid plan in place for airing fights on CBS? Or is that wishful thinking on their part with no real viability?

This will create competition between the networks driving them to put on better shows

This should at least put to bed the artificial issue of fighters on the same promotion not being able to fight due to appearing on separate networks. I'm referencing a topic of a thread you started earlier.

Not coincidentally, after the head of sports progamming switched sides.

I'd love to see HBO give more dates to Dibella and Goosen.
