    This is what I mean by the boxing media's influence in my other thread.

    It's quite disgusting to be frank. Altogether not helping boxing but hindering it.

    Yeah it's funny but doesn't help Russell's recognition.

    When a fighter is popular you can get away with making comments like that but for an up and coming one it's a bit harsh if you ask me.

    I don't recall Kim cracking wise about non-Haymon fighters taking on TBA in actual main events on the networks.

    Again another case of the media making boxing look bad.

    Steve Kim "How satisfying it is to finally say that HBO now stands for Haymon Buzz Off. Good riddance, Al.”

    How can you have a problem Al Haymon yet turn a blind eye to what the other con artists in the sport do? There's too much finger pointing and taking sides rather than being objective and less opinion-based.

    Because other promoters like Top Rank and Main Events actually care about the health of the sport and promoting boxing the right way. This of course is why Top Rank is finally giving the rabid Vanes Martirosyan fan base in Macau the chance to see him live, rather than taking the card to the place paying the highest site fees and charging the lowest taxes.
