    alot of those were "retweets"

meaning he's reposting what other fans have tweeted.

When Showtimes offers him peanuts for the fights, simply because they have no competition; let's see him re-tweet that

Mayweather wasn't cheap; until they got Mayweather.

What Showtime now offers, Goldenboy has to accept. Who is Goldenboy going to use to haggle more money from Showtime?

    Espn? Telemundo?

Before he used Mayweather Bait and HBO; now.. he has neither. HBO is gone, and Mayweather made out like a bandit under contract. Showtime got what they wanted, Al Haymon got what he wanted, and DLH is stuck. :patsch

Have you ever heard of the job market?

Job's pay competitive wages because there is job competition in the market.

    Well, put is this way...

ESPN's pays on average about 50,000 per fight (If That).
Telemundo pays on average about 25,000 per fight (If That).

What competition/incentive does Showtime have to outbid themselves on Goldenboy. Before they had to pay more or else they would loose Maywather sweepstakes and the fights would go to HBO.

Now they don't have any competition.... they dictate the terms. Why do you think DLH is having a meltdown

Mayweather and Al Haymon are fine!

This is bad, but it could work out in the future (me just being optimistic in a messed up sport).

Maybe GBP and Showtime can take over and monopolize boxing like the UFC has done to an extent. I remember a couple years ago in an interview and Oscar wanted to get to the point where he could put on a ppv fight every month and at least 2 free events on TV.
Then it's good he's using CBS to air fights. They showed Leo Santa Cruz's last fight on CBS in the middle of the day and they're looking for a big heavyweight fight in Wilder vs Thompson on CBS also.

Yet you actually think Floyd keeps all the money? Distributors and promoters immediately take around half of the revenue.

Showtime alone do not offer enough prime tv dates and do not have the same budget as the giant HBO.GBP will rue this day pissing off the Network of Champions-HBO.
Arum is pissing himself silly with this news!
