So you think it is debateable between Tarver and Johnson as to who should be at the bottom?

Erdei should be at the bottom lol. His best win is over Gonzalez, who Jones already beat.

    1. Jones
    2. Michalczewski
    3. Hopkins
    4. Tarver
    5. Johnson
    6. Erdei

    What :yikes.
Looking at it like you do, you should consider that Gonzalez beat Johnson then.
Erdei also took the 0 of Garay the future WBA LHW champ as well as beating Gonzalez and Sahnoune. 11 title LHW title defences doesnt lie

    1-Jones
    2-DM

    The rest.

You don't only have to look at wins, but how the fighter won, and how dominant they were...(Pre HW) Roy Jones rarely lost a round at LHW, and has multiple one shot knockouts. Roy Jones' KO 1 over prime undefeated Montel Griffin is severly underrated.

Lets also not forget the KO he scored with a body shot to hall of famer Virgil Hill ..These idiots are just hating on Roy but his body of work at Lt Heavy speaks for itself .

People are also rating him as if he wasn't fading or outright shot when he lost to the fighters on the list.

Listing Jones as one of Hopkins' wins at LHW is ridiculous, meaningless fight.

Not a single fighter on that list has as many of quality LHW wins as Roy, and they didn't dominate like he did.

Great thread and interesting debate bailey

My own personal list would be

    1. Jones
    2. DM
    3. Hopkins
    4. Tarver
    5. Johnson
    6. Erdei

Between Jones and DM it's very close, but I rate Jones' win over Tarver after coming down from HW very highly, so that's why I have Jones at number 1.

Between Hopkins and Tarver it's very close, but Hopkins beat Tarver when they fought so I put Hopkins above him.

On a side note, Hopkins clearly faced the highest level of competition here win lose or draw: Calzaghe, Tarver, Pascal x 2, Wright, Pavlik, Dawson, Cloud

Because, mentioning those fighters have signature wins that are not even in Roy's top 4 wins would show too much that they are not in the argument.

Look at the Jones fanboys bigging up the Hill victory, Jones only went near Hill after a shot to **** Tommy Hearns had already beat Hill fighting 35lbs above his original weight and after DM had convincingly boxed Hills head off just 10 months earlier :deal

And whats more, Roys victory came prior to him being busted for being loaded to the hilt on steroid for the Richard Hall fight. Are you blinkered Jones fanboys gonna tell me that Jones was clean for the Hill fight and Roy just decided to juice because Richard Hall was seen as some kind of phenom by the Jones camp? :rofl
